Rogers Business Account Executive

Your primary objective will be to seek and identify areas for new and expanded customer growth for innovative Rogers Business Solutions in the Enterprise & Medium Business Segment in Edmonton and surrounding area.  Solutions include sales of Wireless (i.e. Mobility solutions including smartphones & phone plans), Data Centre, IoT Solutions (i.e. Fleet Management & Asset Tracking), Wireline Solutions such as Internet, SD-WAN, and other L2 & L3 solutions, Business Productivity Solutions such as Microsoft products and Managed and Professional Services, as well as other solutions available for Rogers Business customers.  You must be a self-starter with strong prospecting, hunting, and solution sales skills.

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Cold calling prospective Medium to Large Business clients to promote and sell Rogers solutions to new and existing customers based in Northern Alberta (locations north of Red Deer).

  • Represent the company with a positive attitude and strong work ethic that will maintain a maximum retention rate and promote growth.

  • Understanding current and prospective customers' business issues, communication needs and buying motives.

  • Developing the right solution for clients' evolving business requirements with a Customer First Approach.

  • Build relationships with team members, internal stakeholders and external partners and engage as required to build solutions.

  • Leverage internal Specialists and Architects to develop solutions, remove IT hurdles and develop additional account relationships.

  • Build trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with key customer decision-makers and influencers.

  • Share your ideas by actively participating in regular sales meetings and fulfill required sales administrative duties (CRM) to support your role in identifying and qualifying opportunities and keeping opportunities and accounts up to date.

  • Work with Marketing to build and utilize sales campaigns, customer events and other sales and networking opportunities.

 What you will bring:

  • University degree or equivalent expertise.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in B2B Sales.

  • Proven interpersonal skills.

  • Proven aptitude for implementing sales strategies.

  • Ability to motivate a team to meet objective.

  • Be results oriented and obtain strong leadership skills.

  • Ability to assess staff, develop skill sets, and possess proven coaching skills.

  • Proven funnel management experience.

  • Experienced presenter.

  • Proven effective team building skills.

  • Proficiency in the use of PowerPoint & Excel.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week.
