Job Title:  Access Network Coordinator—

Rogers is seeking a full-time Access Network Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the successful coordination of multiple CAPEX and OPEX network related activities in both the Wireline and Wireless sides of the company in Atlantic Canada. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    Responsible for the successful coordination of multiple access network activities  
•    Responsible for maintaining detailed updates on activities which will involve working within in an office environment to ensure project commitments are met.
•    Review activity timelines with managers to ensure accuracy and completeness of all activities. 
•    Work closely with the Delivery Managers for activity coordination, reviewing of schedules, preparation of purchase orders, material ordering and working with contractor resources.
•    Maintain a high standard of quality, ensuring that all Rogers Technical, Construction and Safety Standards & Policies are strictly adhered to. 
•    Demonstrate a professional attitude and working relationship between fellow employees and contractors. 
•    Ensure that project information and updates are recorded/reported to the correct parties in a timely, accurate and in a professional manner.
•    Liaise with appropriate departments in a timely, accurate and professional manner. 
•    Recognize, identify and correct potential problems and offer viable solutions. 
•    Prepare and complete concise reports. 
•    Report on project progress using RPATS and Salesforce Milestones. 
•    Learn and adhere to all applicable Health and Safety regulations, in accordance with legislation and related Company policy.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

•    Post Secondary Education with a 2 year technology or business diploma.
•    Experience in understanding financial spreadsheets and project budgets is an asset
•    Experience with project co-ordination.
•    Must be familiar with CSA specifications. 
•    Excellent organization and communication skills required in coordinating multiple activities. 
•    Proficient knowledge of MS Office suite- Outlook, Word, Excel, ORACLE and Power Point. 
•    Valid Provincial driver's license. 
•    Proven ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. 
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. 
•    Ability to multi-task, prioritize workflow to ensure all deadlines are met, and work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment. 
•    Takes initiative and has the ability to attend to detail and follow-up. 
•    Solid understanding of business professionalism.
