Summary:

As the Regional Sales Manager based out of Kitchener or Brampton (SWO/GTA) for Field Sales, you will be accountable for the daily performance of your immediate team and responsible to contribute to the overall success of the department.   With a focus on delivering high levels of revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational performance, you will oversee a blend of frontline Door-to-Door Team Managers and reps to deliver sales programs and drive new sales strategies in the MDU segment

 

The primary focus is on developing and maintaining lasting relationships with property management companies that is conducive to the ongoing sales of Rogers products and services to customers within multi-dwelling units. Utilizes advanced knowledge of products and services as well as sales process experience to maximize sales and effectively work assigned region. And to ensure your team’s success, you’ll monitor performance metrics on a daily basis and provide coaching as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Effective coaching support for a team of Field Sales Team Managers and frontline representatives
  • Develop and implement sales plans by leveraging directed lead strategies to ensure all sales and revenue targets for Digital Cable, Rogers Hi Speed Internet, Rogers Home Phone and Rogers Smart Home Monitoring are met or exceeded. 
  • Ensure that key business indicators are met and exceeded through the development of strategies focusing on sales acquisition through territory coverage, ARPU in, COA, customer churn and employee satisfaction and service levels
  • Develop a sales culture focused on delivering world class sales performance through disciplined territory coverage and cold acquisition
  • Liaise with Regional partners to support sales results in the Field Sales channel by means of effectively deploying defined sales programs and identifying best practices and process improvements
  • Ensure Team Managers and Representatives are clear on daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, with a full vision of year-end department goals.
  • Oversee that all Team Managers and Representatives are trained in accordance to the appropriate learning plans including classroom, coaching, simulations, eLearning modules, and others as directed.
  • Ascertains that all Sales Team Managers and Representatives are fully knowledgeable on Rogers product offerings, branding messages, and current offers/promotions. Validates all reporting of sales and other metrics, as directed, on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage and participate in different in-field sales activities (i.e. door to door activity and sales events)
  • Develop, implement and monitor the coaching and career-pathing of employees, ensuring employee development and high retention rates
  • Motivate and develop a high performance team that will exceed customer and stakeholder expectations through adherence to a grassroots sales culture
  • Develop strategies and tactics that support open, timely and consistent communications throughout the team

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience leading sales teams, preferably in a Door-to-Door sales environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and sales background
  • Extensive direct sales coaching and performance management experience in a sales leadership role
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales quotas via managing by metrics, coaching, and performance management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for a senior leadership role (i.e. achievement orientation, team leadership, adaptability, business acumen)
  • Conflict resolution and ability to collaborate with other departments to achieve common objectives
  • Ability to translate the impact of operational decisions on financial results and customer/employee satisfaction
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma an asset or equivalent certification in a business related field
