105.3 Rock - CKMH is seeking a Full Time Promotions Manager for a one-year maternity leave contract.  Reporting to the Program Director at Medicine Hat this individual will be responsible for a variety of duties in the station's Promotions Department.




  • Assisting the Program Director in their day to day, promotional duties
  • Assigning and scheduling a PT Promo Coordinator to/for events
  • Making public appearances on behalf of 105.3 Rock
  • Conceptualizing and executing promotional campaigns
  • Helping with paperwork
  • Website and social media updates
  • Helping with the execution of all station promotions
  • Driving the station vehicle




  • Minimum one year Promotion Department experience is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and a strong desire and passion to succeed
  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and comprehension skills
  • Some video editing skills
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Photoshop
  • Experience with Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter
  • Must hold a valid full driver’s license
