Digital Category Merchandiser

Todays Shopping Choice is a leading interactive, multi-channel retailer, offering a vast assortment of exclusive products and top brand names to its customers. Site Merchandising

  • Drive sales by planning and managing execution of online merchandising for a product category on
  • Develop and manage planning documents for seasonal campaigns, key items, and other initiatives related to the product category
  • Develop creative briefs and provide direction to graphic designers; approve visual assets to be used on the site
  • Monitor and analyze competitive landscape within the product category, and identify opportunities to test new ideas and optimize sales performance

Performance Analysis

  • Analyze web metrics to identify customer trends and opportunities
  • Maintain awareness of digital trends and best practices


  • Build and foster strong relationships with product teams and other business partners
  • Provide digital education to other teams to influence overall merchandising strategy


  • 2+ years retail operations and product merchandising experience; web experience an asset.
  • Good understanding of product and seasonal trends.
  • Solid analytical skills; experience with web analytics tools an asset.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work across functional areas within a company and develop strong working relationships.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook; HTML skills an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail a must.
