The incumbent will be responsible for increasing sales relating to a base of corporate accounts and for the acquisition of new accounts in the territory entrusted to them.
By collaborating with internal support teams, the Strategic account executive will provide effective business solutions to clients by leveraging innovative strategic planning, superior customer service in the Montréal area.

 

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Use innovative sales techniques and product knowledge to grow the business, primarily for existing customers, using Rogers' full line of telecommunications products and services.
  • Analyze and carry out opportunities to acquire new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Represent the company with a positive attitude and a solid work ethic that will optimize the retention rate and manage growth.
  • Develop account and relationship management strategies to connect with decision makers and protect the account from any competitive activity.
  • Act with clients as an advisor on all products and services of Rogers Communications inc.
  • Propose ideas by actively participating in regular sales meetings and performing administrative duties required by the position.
  • Take charge of customer issues, diagnose them and find solutions by working with key internal collaborators to maintain business integrity.
  • Actively participate in regular sales meetings and perform required administrative tasks.

 

What you bring: 

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in the wireless or telecommunications industry, preferably in managing large medium-sized and / or large business (B2B) accounts
  • University degree in business administration or related field.
  • Known ability to meet and exceed set goals.
  • Excellent understanding of wireless, data and telecommunications products and services
  • Experience in sales of professional services is a definite asset
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Innovative thought to meet customer requirements.
  • Bilingual: French and English (oral and written)
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and constantly changing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Sales Force.com, Word, Excel and PowerPoint software.
