About the Operational Support Systems (OSS) Stream
Joining the OSS team is world of professional opportunities. The Operations Support Systems (OSS) team is dedicated to key applications that enable our technology teams to actively plan, deploy & operate our networks. Whether you develop applications, build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms, engineer and integrate complex systems or map business needs to platforms development and operations, an exciting career awaits you.

 

The Montreal campus is in the heart of downtown Montreal, directly connected to the underground, the metro system, and the suburban trains. As the second largest building in Montreal, we are surrounded by a wide array of restaurants and shops as well. The campus was recently renovated to feature a shared space work environment with interactive spaces, quiet zones, and the newest technology to encourage collaboration and enable you to come up with the most creative and refreshing solutions.


Your Responsibilities

  • We work in an environment where everything changes rapidly. You will collaborate with partner companies, engineering and operation groups to set up network monitoring solutions as well as optimize fault visualization and identification of root cause.
  • Participate in the development of a long-term vision as well as a roadmap for product evolution.
  • Listen to internal  clients in order to define, understand and document the needs that must align with the long-term vision.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to determine and improve process efficiency.
  • Apply methodologies specific to the software development cycle to develop and implement fault management solutions aligned with business needs and the strategic plan.
  • Apply different application solutions including machine learning to network fault management.
  • See to maintaining the operational efficiency of the network fault management systems.

 

What You bring

  • You are bilingual (French and English).
  • You have a diploma recognized by the industry in software
  • You have technological knowledge including Java, Linux, SQL, machine learning…
  • You have demonstrated skills in simplifying and clearly communicating complex situations.
  • You have a spirit of creativity, innovation and have an energetic will to succeed
  • You are passionate about science, technology, engineering and / or telecommunications
  • You are open to new challenges and have a passion for acquiring new skills
  • You thrive in an environment where collaboration and teamwork bring together a diverse set of talents and skills to solve complex problems
