The Manager will contribute to the content development for Fido XTRA, fido’s customer engagement program.  He or she will be responsible for sourcing compelling offers, freebies and contests, to continue driving program engagement.


Reporting to the Senior Manager of Fido XTRA Content, the candidate will also work with the Fido XTRA team to constantly improve and enhance the program and its appeal to merchants and to fido customers.  He or she will be an instrumental part of the team that is accountable for building a stellar engagement program, as well as delivering on program engagement and LTR target.  It is crucial that the candidate be well versed and skilled at presenting and negotiating, and is able to work in both French and English.  He or she may be required to travel occasionally within Canada. 

 

  • Identify and pursue potential merchant opportunities for Fido XTRA.
  • Present the opportunity and negotiate agreements for merchants to provide offers and visibility fido can deliver in exchange.
  • Work with our legal team to get NDA and agreements drafted and signed for each merchant or external party.
  • Plan, observe and analyse Fido XTRA offers that will drive the best engagement and identify opportunities to improve the offer plan.
  • Track costs of content execution
  • Contribute to program’s strategic planning with Director and Senior managers.
  • Create and update tools to improve the merchant presentation and any supporting documentation.
  • Support the team for ad hoc projects such as internal presentations and program reviews.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A team player, able to work well independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-starter with proven track record of engaging and negotiating with external parties.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written in both French and English.
  • Experience managing legal agreements and working with legal counsel.
  • Experience with digital product and/or service business development and management
  • 5 years marketing experience with large organizations. Telecommunications experience is an asset. 
  • Strong analytical skills – able to review and analyze campaign results in order to formulate recommendations.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Working magic with PowerPoint is key!
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
