We’re looking for a Sales Coordinator, Rogers Sports & Media (Montreal office)

 

The Sales Coordinator is pivotal to Rogers Sports & Media’s commitment to Best In Class Customer Service. They are responsible for maintaining the integrity of each media campaign purchased throughout its life cycle and communicating with clients on changes to their orders. Working with integrated order management systems such as S4M, Wide Orbit and Operative. One, the Sales Coordinator will oversee day to day campaign management with direct input from account executives. Our Sales Coordinators are self-motivated and detail focused, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. They have a positive problem-solving attitude with a view that no challenge is unattainable and take pride in a job well done.

 

What you will do…

  • Ensure the integrity of campaigns on a group of accounts.
  • Maintain and grow client revenue for all Rogers Sports & Media properties (a specific station focus may be indicated).
  • Respond to client requests for accountability using a combination of software tools and internal departments available for client/market intelligence to best Rogers Sports & Media properties.
  • Investigate and negotiate all requests for credits to retain revenue wherever possible.
  • Assist Sales with packaging/positioning of Rogers Sports & Media stations to best serve client needs via targeted schedules.
  • Work constructively with other departments essential to grow our business, including but not limited to Revenue Management, Commercial Traffic, Sales Promotion, Accounting, Digital, and Commercial Production.
  • Assist Account Executives with client service tasks such as Avails, N/A replacements and Seasonal Renegotiations.
  • Coordinate with Traffic teams to ensure all required elements are received for timely turnaround for log generation.
  • Other duties as required from Sr. Manager or his/her designee.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a media sales environment with exposure to agencies
  • Experience with Television sales and concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Bilingual)
  • Strong sense of ownership and experience working in a highly demanding environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of P.C. computer software e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, salesforce and S4M.
  • Self-motivated & detail focused, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Positive problem-solving attitude with a view that no challenge is unattainable.
  • Team player
  • Personal Work Ethic (Pride in a job well done)
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Associate, Sales Support or similar role
  • Basic understanding of Advertising Sales principles and customer service practices
  • A friendly and energetic personality with a customer first focus
  • Ability to perform under pressure and address issues in a timely manner.
