  • Provide leadership and direction to Dispatchers to support Field Managers and technicians
  • Provide ongoing coaching and guidance to the dispatchers, and monitor performance
  • Meet with the dispatchers regularly to review performance results and task compliance
  • Interact with internal and external customers, Field Managers and other departments as required
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback
  • Ensure dispatchers provide technical expertise to the technicians and support teams as required
  • Have a high sense of urgency while bringing a prompt resolution to customer escalations 24x7
  • Conduct root cause analysis, documentation and change management based on findings
  • Manage resources / productivity effectively within the region and support departmental needs
  • Ensuring budgets are met, and driving efficiencies within the group.
  • Stay current with and adhere to all applicable Health & Safety regulations, both legislatively mandated and as outlined in Company policy.




  • Previous experience managing and leading a team
  • Several years' management experience.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field.  Professional certification is an asset.
  • Experience motivating employees to change.
  • Proven experience understanding and improving business processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong presenter / public speaker and facilitator.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently on multiple simultaneous tasks within a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
  • Knowledge of all Rogers products
  • Experience managing members of a Collective Agreement would be an asset.
  • Strong computer skills, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
