Rogers Media Ottawa is looking for a dynamic person to join its passionate team of sales professionals.  The individual will be responsible for advertising sales for five radio stations and a hyper-local news website in the National Capital Region:


CHEZ-FM – 106.1 CHEZ

CISS-FM - KiSS 105.3

CKBY-FM - Country 101.1

CIWW – 1310 NEWS

CJET-FM – JACK 92.3

The successful candidate will also be responsible for selling a deep, comprehensive suite of digital advertising solutions.

 

Responsibilities:
•Prospect and develop new business.
•Provide marketing ideas to grow client business through radio airtime and digital applications.
•Manage all aspects of the client relationship including contracts, billing, & collections.
•Operate within the Rogers sales guidelines

 

Qualifications:
•Minimum College Diploma and /or equivalent direct sales experience.
•Prior media sales and/or agency experience.
•Experience selling News media is preferred.
•Extensive business-to-business network is preferred.
•Strong prospecting, selling and presentation skills.
•Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
•Self-starter with energy, ideas, discipline and enthusiasm.
•Able to work independently; yet a strong team player.
•Computer competency a must, particularly Microsoft applications.
•Competency with Wide Orbit, Lens & SalesPro Lite an asset.
•Competency with Salesforce (CRM) an asset.
