Rogers is seeking an Inside Sales Business Account Manager.  The Inside Sales Account Manager  will be responsible for developing sales opportunities and generating revenue in the commercial and public sector market in Eastern Ontario. Working within varied industry verticals, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with the Account Executive team in order to develop and nurture relationships within prospects and existing customers. The goal is to enable businesses to reach their goals through the Rogers suite of services.

 
Working closely with the Account Executive, you will help build quotes, gather client information, generate contract documents and help drive opportunities through internal process.  As an integral member of the sales team, the Inside Sales Business Account Manager will work to retain and acquire new customer as we seek to deliver a robust suite of innovative and advanced business solutions to our clients.  

 
What you'll be doing:

  • Proactively pursue business development opportunities over the phone or through social engagement
  • Build relationships from the ground up with prospects and help manage current revenue opportunities in collaboration with the Account Executive
  • Coordinate sales presentations, customer meetings over the phone
  • Identify and communicate with decision makers by showing them the value Rogers can bring to their business needs
  • Employ a outcome-based sales approach and provide service solutions through effective analysis and qualification
  • Work closely with Account Executives to help deliver monthly sales quotas and exceed sales activity standards
  • Maintain an expert level of product and industry knowledge and business acumen
  • Maintain knowledge of all system tools and adhere to sales processes (Salesforce, billing and reporting systems)
  • Act as a Rogers ambassador to our clients and provide them with a superior customer experience at all time

 
What you will bring:

  • A proven track record as a top performing sales professional who has consistently exceeded sales performance objective
  • Sales experience; preferably in a business-to-business sales role within the communications, technology or retail service industries
  • Knowledge of CRM and tracking applications such as Salesforce.com
  • Superb oral and written communication skills
  • Willing to work flexible hours to meet evolving business needs
  • The desire to improve on a daily basis
