In this role, you will shape the evolution of the National Capital in their expansion to East Ontario. Reporting to the Director, Strategy & Regions and partnering with members of your local RET, this position is an instrumental part of the team to support the Regional President, add capacity to RET leaders and is accountable to define and deliver RET plans locally. What you will do:

  • Support members of the East Ontario Regional Executive Teams to drive execution of regional plan
  • Facilitate all regular Regional Executive Team meetings including managing the agenda, gathering content from RET members, assembling presentations, and following up on action items to ensure they are completed by the relevant owner
  • Program manage key regional priorities related to Network, Brand & Reputation, and/or People
  • Manage RET budgets e.g annual recommendation, expense claims, forecasting, and prioritization
  • Maintain and analyze regional scorecard data and provide regular insights and narrative to Regional Executive Team on trends and drivers and facilitate business reviews
  • Maintain regional fact pack to support executive briefings e.g. jobs, real estate, community investments/partnerships, GDP, major accounts, key stakeholders, highlights, risks and opportunities
  • Manage the execution of employee engagement activities and events with link to our existing sponsorships, partnerships, and regional plan where possible
  • Bi-annual regional focus group facilitation to gather local insights from relevant customer facing support and sales channels; integrate recommendations into regional plan and manage communication and feedback loop back to participants
  • Support Regional Executive Team to develop regional narratives in preparation for ELT reviews in partnership with Business Unit leaders’ Planning and Strategy for alignment on expectations
  • Develop and manage relationships with key partners for alignment on initiatives that impact the region (ie: Government Relations, Corp Communications, CSR, HR, Operations, and RET)
  • Organize ELT visits and agendas to include visibility to regional departments
  • Build and nurture relationships with other Regional Executive Teams and business unit planners to share best practices and adopt locally
  • Represents Rogers externally as a brand ambassador at external events and meetings

  • Strong sense of initiative, passion for continuous learning, results oriented, flexible and willing to work in multi-task, dynamic environment independently and as part of team
  • Strong ability to lead with influence, establish & build meaningful relationships and partners with ability to bring diverse teams together with a clear vision, common objectives and path to mutually beneficial success
  • Proven organizational, planning, analytical/ critical thinking, facilitation skills with strong time management capabilities and ability to effectively prioritize
  • Great storyteller – excellent communication (written and oral with ability to leverage suite of Office tools) and interpersonal skills with ability to manage senior leaders to aligned outcomes
  • Telecom experience a bonus
  • Bilingualism an asset
