The incumbent of this position will be responsible for growing sales pertaining to commercial and corporate accounts and prospecting new accounts in the territory assigned to him/her. By partnering with clients and local partners, the Commercial and Corporate Account Manager will provide effective business solutions to clients through innovative and strategic planning, superior client service and prospecting in the Quebec region.
 
 Accountabilities:

  • Use innovative selling techniques and product knowledge to grow business, primarily with current clients, using the full suite of Rogers wireless and telecom products and services.
  • Analyze and pursue opportunities for prospecting additional business within the assigned territory.
  • Represent the company with a positive attitude and strong work ethic that will help optimize the retention rate and manage growth.
  • Develop account and relationship management strategies in order to gain insider status and protect the account from any competitor activity.
  • Act as an advisor with clients on the full suite of products and services provided by Rogers Communications Inc.
  • Share your ideas by actively participating at regular sales meetings and perform the administrative duties required by the position.
  • Own and troubleshoot client problems and find solutions by working with key internal contacts to maintain business integrity.

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in the wireless and/or telecom industry, preferably in managing major corporate and/or government accounts.
  • University degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned targets.
  • Solid understanding of wireless, data and telecom products and services.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong strategic planning skills.
  • Superior client service skills.
  • An innovative thinker in meeting client requirements.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing work environment.
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
