Who you are:
As the RCO NOC Analyst you are responsible for the real-time monitoring, analysis, and support of network systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance across our wireless and wireline infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in maintaining service reliability, quickly identifying and escalating network incidents, and ensuring proactive response to service disruptions.
As a member of a 24/7 operations team, the NOC Analyst helps protect the customer experience by ensuring network health and stability around the clock.

 

 

What you’ll do:
•    Monitor network alarms, performance dashboards, and alerts across multiple platforms and technologies.
•    Identify, triage, and escalate network events or outages to appropriate technical teams for resolution.
•    Perform initial troubleshooting steps to isolate and document issues.
•    Coordinate and communicate network incidents with internal teams and external partners.
•    Maintain detailed shift logs, incident reports, and trouble tickets.
•    Track ongoing outages and follow through to resolution to ensure service restoration.
•    Proactively identify recurring issues and assist in root-cause analysis and process improvements.
•    Support after-hours maintenance windows and planned network upgrades.
•    Maintain situational awareness of network health and service availability.

 

 

What you bring:
•    College diploma or technical certification in Networking, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
•    1–3 years of experience in a Network Operations Center, IT Help Desk, or technical support role.
•    Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or similar).
•    Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
•    Understanding of incident management and escalation processes.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
•    Ability to perform in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
•    Team-oriented with the ability to work independently on shift.
•    Comfortable working rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
•    Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent considered an asset.
•    Ideally experience with ISP networks, fixed wireless, coax or fiber systems
•    Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands or network troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, Wireshark, etc.).
•    Understanding of SNMP-based monitoring, performance thresholds, and network automation tools.

 

 

Work Environment
•    24/7 operations center environment with rotating shifts.
•    Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours.
•    Requires attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
•    Requires ability to pass and complete a criminal record check, credit check and a drivers abstract
