The BC Corporate Sales department has an immediate opening for an Account Executive. This position is responsible for growing sales within assigned Large Private Sector accounts. By partnering with accounts, the Account Executive will provide business solutions to customers through innovative and strategic planning, superior customer service and prospecting.
Responsibilities:
• Use innovative selling techniques and product knowledge, to grow business primarily within existing base of accounts using the full suite of Rogers Wireline and telecom products and services
• Analyze and pursue opportunities for prospecting additional business within assigned territory
• Represent the company with a positive attitude and strong work ethic that will maintain a maximum retention rate and manage growth
• Develop account and relationship management strategies, in order to gain insider status and to protect the account from any competitive activity
• Act as the single point of contact for accounts on the full suite of products and services provided by Rogers Communications Inc.
• Share your ideas by actively participating at regular sales meetings and fulfill required administrative duties to support your role.
• Own and troubleshoot customer problems and provide solutions by working with key internal contacts to maintain integrity of business
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience selling to Large Private Sector with an-in-depth knowledge of the procurement process
• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in wireless and/or telecom industry
• University Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Strong strategic planning skills
• Must have experience in interacting and presenting to senior level leadership
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding assigned quotas
• Solid understanding of wireless, data and telecom products and services
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Superior customer service skills
• An innovative thinker in meeting customer requirements
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing work environment
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Valid driver's license
• Must live in the Vancouver area and be able to commute in office 3 times per week
