Analyst - Digital Revenue Management (12 month contract)

 

Reporting to the Director of Digital Revenue Management, the Digital Analyst is responsible for direct and indirect sales order andreporting management, analyzing display and video inventory trends, pricing analysis, and recommending rate card adjustments. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, analytical individual, looking to develop their experience in digital advertising.
 
Accountabilities

  • Daily approval and management of digital media sales orders via our order management system
  • Analyze inventory trends to spotlight sales opportunities
  • Highlight delivery trends for media planning and trafficking teams within ad operations
  • Analyze pricing across direct and indirect sales channels to identify trends and recommend rate card optimizations
  • Ensure all rate cards are accurate for sales in our order management system
  • Handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Responds to ad hoc analysis requests
  • Proactively suggests analysis tools and reports that can support the Programmatic and Direct Sales divisions to maximize revenue

 

Key Experiences/Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in either business analysis or media analysis
  • Degree or Diploma in Business, analysis or any other discipline deemed pertinent.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical background required
  • Experience within a digital media environment is a bonus
  • Experience within a programmatic environment (Exchange, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, Publisher Programmatic division) is a bonus
  • Advanced MS Excel software skills (pivot tables, vlookup, ISNUMBER, Macro development, visual basic)
  • Knowledge of ad serving software and web analytics software
  • Knowledge of programmatic SSPs, ad trafficking and digital Yield Software preferred (desktop, mobile, and video)
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be highly detail oriented and comfortable with large amounts of data
  • Must be self-motivated and possess excellent organizational and project-management skills
  • Strong communication skills - oral, written, interpersonal required
  • Discretion, diplomacy and tact in dealing with stakeholders 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and provide superior customer service to external and internal clients
