The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for an Assistant Manager, Membership Sales!


Reporting to the Manager, Membership Sales, the successful candidate will help cultivate a high-performance sales culture, assist in developing sales strategies to achieve Membership and Ticket Pack targets, while stimulating growth and development of the Sales & Service Academy team.

  • Manage Sales & Service Academy members with focus on driving new Membership sales and both retention and new Ticket Pack sales

  • Assist in producing effective sales strategies to generate new Membership and Ticket Pack opportunities

  • Help develop plan to prospect, identify and secure new Membership & Ticket Pack sales

  • Support development of formal sales training programs for Academy, helping grow staff sales skill set, with focus on Membership sales

  • Work closely with Academy to provide ongoing sales, system and process training

  • Assist in creating development plans for Academy and executing formal performance evaluations

  • Help recruit, interview, and hire Academy members

  • Ensure day to day execution of targeted outbound sales campaigns, leveraging Archtics and Salesforce CRM to track and report results and effectiveness

  • Manage inbound Membership and Ticket Pack calls and leads, creating process for timely sales team follow up

  • Work closely with entire Ticketing Team to ensure clear communication, sharing of information and cross functional collaboration within departments

  • Commitment to positively contributing, encouraging and fostering a culture of equality within an inclusive and safe workplace

  • Contribute to the overall success of ticketing team by performing all other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned




  • 3+ years of success in sales and/or service in the sports industry

  • Passion for leading people; strong ability to motivate and mentor staff

  • A committed, professional, and proactive approach to sales and service excellence

  • Strong prioritization skills and an ability to multi-task in a busy and challenging work environment

  • A desire to contribute to a dynamic team and complete assigned tasks with a minimal amount of instruction and supervision

  • Knowledge and understanding of Toronto Blue Jays products is considered an asset

  • Experience with the following programs would be considered an asset: Archtics, Salesforce CRM

  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours (select evenings, weekends)
