We are looking for a passionate, disciplined performance marketer that strives for great work with every campaign that not only breaks through with innovative ideas, but also helps deliver against business objectives. You come prepared for a curiosity for analytical and competitive facts, and strategic thinking to support your recommendations.

This role is responsible leveraging Rogers suite of partners and community initiatives to drive new customer prospects for Rogers. As the Brand Specialist for Rogers Partnership Marketing team, you will support the Sr. Manager to help generate insights, guide decisions and inform how we can make the most of our sport and lifestyle partnerships.  You will work closely with broader Consumer Business Unit team to understand marketing priorities and translate those into innovative, actionable partnership initiatives that engage prospective customers for Rogers.  The successful candidate will assist in the strategic planning and work with our partners, creative and experienital agencies to execute campaigns across multiple channels, (ex. above the line media).

What you will be doing:

  • Support the Senior Brand Manager in the development of annual and quarterly planning cycles, including objectives, key performance indicators, and provide performance monitoring in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Support the implementation of small and medium sized cross-functional campaigns leveraging sport and lifestyle partnerships – from the development of insight-driven communications briefs through to in-market
  • Working in partnership with marketing colleagues, this role will actively develop and manage programs that can be deployed to drive fan and community engagement, creating digital experiences engaging potential customers, and nurturing to create revenue opportunities
  • Contribute insightful context from popular sports culture to inform strategic thinking

What you bring:

  • University degree, preferably in marketing or communications.
  • 2+ years experience of brand management or marketing communications experience; agency or client side
  • Excellent thoroughness and organization; able to manage a large number of projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills; able to establish relationships and to influence.
  • Project management skills to manage multiple high-profile and high-budget projects at once
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem solving
  • Knowledge of Sport: an intimate knowledge of North American sports culture
