The Business Development Manager will be part of the Collaboration Product Management team within Rogers for Business, and will be responsible to help grow revenues in our Microsoft M365 portfolio.  This will be done by managing enrollment and participation in various Microsoft sponsored incentive programs. Activity will also involve daily/weekly interaction with Sales, Sales Support and Sales Enablement teams to review and help drive sales opportunities to closure. Working with Marketing teams on related programs and campaigns to acquire new business in the Microsoft portfolio. Focus of the position will be on expanding top line revenue. Leverage existing and acquired knowledge and experience to help define, implement and successfully launch new business processes and programs that will help accelerate revenue acquisition.  The successful candidate will understand software based services and the supplier-reseller relationship between Microsoft and telecom carriers.

What you will be doing:

  • Grow Customer Acquisition by working closely with Sales and Microsoft for Modern Workplace Solutions – M365 & O365 
  • Capture New Customers with the focus of Microsoft 365 products 
  • Grow existing customer base with Voice attach features across M365.  
  • Design and implement customer acquisition programs leveraging Microsoft promotions and resources
  • Review new customer acquisition on monthly basis and highlight insights and recommendations for improvements 
  • Help operationalize sales processes between Microsoft and Rogers such as lead sharing through Partner Center and other tools. 

What you bring:

  • University degree, BSC, BA or equivalent, relevant fields of study include Business, Marketing.  Minimum 3 years of work experience in a business customer sales environment. Familiarity with Software as a Service services and applications. Experience with Microsoft365 applications and delivery models preferred
  • Highly enthusiastic team player with a strong work ethic who can work well with cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft partner ecosystem, applications and delivery methods preferred
  • Excellence at managing relationships
  • Organizational skills that lead to well-thought-out priority planning
  • Prompt follow-through on assigned tasks
  • The ability to be efficient and productive with little supervision and the ability to work quickly and exceed goals 
  • Readiness training appropriate for the solution area will be provided.
