Business Systems Analyst (BSA), Digital Knowledge Management

Our Digital Knowledge Management team is seeking a talented BSA. The successful candidate will be part of a combined Agile product and development team responsible for the growth of an internal knowledge management platform used by thousands of frontline agents. You will have the opportunity to dive deep into the details of how the product is built, influencing our business, process and systems architecture.

 

The Digital Knowledge Management team’s core focus is to make the customer support experience better for our frontline agents. Our agents assist customers every day by leveraging the tools we build to find answers to their questions. Our team is unique in that we support all lines of business across the organization to centralize and unify support content for our agents. Improving the agent experience is a continuous process; by joining our team you will directly influence the lives of frontline agents and ultimately our customers. As a member of the broader Digital team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with product, content, user experience design, technology and other partners to evolve the business.

 

What you will do…

  • Interact with the KM product team to analyze, document and validate business requirements for user stories, process flows and reporting requirements
  • Prepare use cases, user stories, and test cases based off discussions with our frontline partners, the product team and the development team
  • Assist in the planning and analysis of our systems, bringing recommendations on how and what to build based on the product roadmap
  • Propose system specifications and solutions to fulfill business needs
  • Interact with the KM development team and QA partners to ensure that questions and discrepancies about specifications are resolved during the solution development process
  • Manage partnerships and design solutions with technical teams within Digital and beyond
  • Operational configuration of production systems – e.g. search tuning, user management capabilities, reporting database
  • Execute reports leveraging internal reporting tools

 

What you will bring…

  • Experience working with product teams and translating product requirements into development specifications
  • Experience with day-to-day activities of a team using Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe)
  • Hands-on experience with Visio/other process mapping tools to communicate product flows, and Excel to review and transform large sets of data
  • Understanding and working with developers on ETL pipelines, SQL databases, LDAP
  • Ability to translate technical problems and their impact into business language
  • Working knowledge of key technical concepts such as modern backend applications, cloud-based systems, web services, Kubernetes and container frameworks, Cloud monitoring/data analytics etc.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work under own initiative – you like to have autonomy and demonstrate proactiveness in finding and solving problems
