Chatr is a rapidly expanding wireless brand seeking a talented chatr Account Manager - Dealer Sales. Reporting to the Senior Manager, chatr Dealer Sales the candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets and operational objectives. The position requires an individual who can travel within a set territory, plan and execute marketing strategy with Dealer Principles, direct the activity of store associates, and sales managers. The candidate will enforce high sales, merchandising, marketing, and customer experience standards.


Minimum experience shall be the following, wireless retail sales, retail operation/start up, sales territory management. The ideal candidate will also possess a combination of the following skills: high sales achievement, technical ability, exceptional communications and relationship building along with demonstration of strong leadership characteristics.


Responsibilities Include: 

 

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, annual sales and operational targets by maintaining a high level of sales and marketing activity in the territory.
  • Direct the actions of the Dealer Principles, Sales Managers, and Sales Representatives through regular dealer meetings, location visits, and onsite coaching.
  • Ensure high marketing and merchandising standards are maintained through compliance of the dealer agreement.
  • Monitor dealer progress through timely reporting, dealer principle meetings and quarterly dealer evaluations.
  • Plan and implement local marketing tactics, and sales initiatives with dealers on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Project manage new store openings as required including collaboration with internal Corporate Realestate, Design and Retail Markets & Research teams. 
  • Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities in the territory.
  • Identify new retail opportunities for expansion within their territory
  • Organize regular meetings with DPs, store staff and managers
  • Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to successfully implement channel projects and sales initiatives across the dealer channel.

 

Qualifications: 

 

  • 5+ years in the wireless retail management
  • Preferred experience in wireless dealer channels and multi-location retail environments
  • Experience in wireless telecommunications preferred, complimented by knowledge of industry and market trends, competitive issues, and strategic direction
  • Highly motivated objective-driven, innovative and an exceptional team player 
  • Excellent communication skills, relationship building, and strong leadership skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • University degree or College Diploma is an asset 
  • Able to work in fast paced, changing environment.
