The Client Sales Execution Coordinator within our Integrated Sports Sales Team is responsible for project management, executing sold programs/campaigns across all platforms through integrated solutions for our partners (agencies and advertisers) and contributing to the development of strategic sponsorship opportunities.

 

The role will be part of, but not limited to the Sportsnet team reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Client Sales Execution. This role will also work cross-functionally to support various sales teams across Rogers Sports & Media. Working within the fast-paced environment of live sports, this role will be looked to provide critical thinking in project managing multi-platform solutions while providing Sportsnet partners with turn-key account management solutions.

 

Within the role, they must understand Sportsnet as a network and media brand. The successful candidate will have an understanding of Sports Marketing fundamentals including the ability to bring media solutions to life within the boundaries of intellectual property management. They must establish productive relationships with internal Sportsnet stakeholders, including Content, Programming, Talent, Creative Design and Traffic. Establishing strong external working relationships with clients, Leagues, Talent and Pro Sports Teams will be critical to success within the role.

What you will be doing...

  • Execute sold media programs, project management and daily client management.
  • Activation/Project Management.
  • Working with Programming, Production and Traffic on the implementation of sold campaigns across all platforms including, but not limited to broadcast, radio, digital and publishing.
  • Assist in campaign renewal process; providing feedback, initiatives, campaign history, reports and analysis of sports integrated multi-platform campaigns.
  • Identify and provide upsell opportunities on current and upcoming campaigns across all media platforms.
  • Create/manage work-back schedules for all integrated multi-platform campaigns to ensure all components are achieved on-time.
  • Manage implementation of integrated sports/NHL campaigns across all platforms.
  • Client Management
  • Respond to agency and client inquiries regarding integrated sales and sponsorships.
  • Follow up with clients regarding outstanding ad material.
  • Be a central contact for sales, client and internal in relation to campaign activation and agreements.
  • Liaise with clients and external stakeholders on project execution while providing accurate updates and feedback.
  • Occasionally attend events and production shoots (as needed) related to client relations/business development.
  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Track variables of all active/executed campaigns (including flight date(s), client, cost, annual increase, content and etc.)
  • Providing proof of performance to clients in short order including screen-shots, clipping and ongoing monitoring of multiple partnership campaigns.
  • Provide detailed summaries and analysis while identifying renewal or upsell opportunities
     

What you will be bring...

  •  Related work experience in a project management capacity in media, content or sales.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Sports knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian sponsorship and media landscape.
  • Strong capabilities with MS Office applications, specifically PowerPoint.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
