Communications Lead
Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for a collaborative Communications Lead who will join us in our mission to create consistency, drive comprehension, and reduce complexity in communications for our frontline employees. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Frontline Enablement, the Communications Lead will work with internal partners to drive our business objectives.
What you’ll do:
- Update and manage sales offer grids via Sales Assist with a keen eye for detail for Retail and Field Sales
- Write/edit effective and timely sales bulletins via Sales Assist for Retail and Field Sales frontline teams
- Build and maintain 1source pages for Care & Telesales frontline teams
- Build, update, and upload communications to Sales Assist and 1source daily
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and peers on regular calls to finalize comms and ensure smooth execution
- Attend various daily calls to ensure team alignment, get details on incoming programs, and align on execution strategies
- Build trusted and collaborative relationships with multiple internal partners and peers
- Perform daily tool maintenance including escalations, outage management, configuration, issue support, access management, database efficiency and overall security support
- Support the Sales Assist strategy and GTM-EX program execution for Rogers, Fido and Chatr retail
- Contribute to tool roadmap enhancements with the goal to minimize frontline challenges
- Collaboratively partner with cross functional teams to develop a closed feedback loop
- Support key business projects/program launches, acting as a Sales Assist, 1source and communications SME, with consideration to business goals and roadmap
- Support the creation of training materials for key updates and changes, as required for the team
What you bring:
- Post-secondary degree or related experience in journalism, communications, copywriting
- 5+ years in communications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a frontline position (Retail, Field, Solution Center, etc.), sales, service, or support environment
- Proven strong copywriting and editing skills
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities with proven time management skills/strategies
- Communication: strong written and verbal skills (Initiative Listening, Understanding and Responding)
- Meets tight deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Team player with a positive, growth mindset
- Thrives and adapts quickly in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Passionate about the frontline and putting the customer first
- Practical and relevant work experience for tools used by client groups and working knowledge on escalation procedures for problem resolution
- Ability to have difficult conversations in a tactful and effective manner
- Data driven decision maker who can leverage multiple data sources to support key development proposals, identify issues/problems and build business cases to drive change
- Can build strong and credible relationships with multiple external partners and internal teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Adobe Cloud products proficiency an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) an asset
- Must be flexible to work shifts day/nights, weekends and select holidays as needed
Note:
Successful candidate will be required for shift work/weekend coverage, and be in office 3x weekly.
