POSITION:                       Content Producer – Jays Care Foundation

TERM:                              Full-Time Contract (April – December)

RESPONSIBLE TO:        Sr. Manager, Marketing and Communications – Jays Care Foundation


Jays Care is seeking a Content Producer to support Jays Care’s programming storytelling efforts across Canada. The ideal candidate has experience shooting, producing, and editing quality digital content. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Marketing and Communications, the position will broadly support Jays Care’s storytelling efforts of programs for thousands of children and youth from coast to coast to coast. The position is be based out of Rogers Centre on a full-time basis with 35-hour weeks.



  • Capture and produce short-form & long-form storytelling pieces highlighting Jays Care’s work across Canada
  • Capture and produce content pieces for Jays Care donors
  • Manage production and project administration related to shoots (budget, travel, release waivers)
  • Work with the Specialist of Marketing and Communications to implement social content strategy
  • Lead the scripting process for content pieces
  • Work collaboratively with internal content team
  • Other administration & program duties as required



  • Minimum 2+ years experience in content production or related field
  • Excellent storytelling capabilities to bring ideas to life
  • Strong shooting experience with ability to shoot stills and be confident working independently on location
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in digital marketing an asset
  • Significant experience working with Adobe software packages; Premier Pro, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Willingness to work flexible hours outside of regular 9-5 schedule and to travel as required
  • A team player with the ability to see big picture goals of the organization and contribute to day-to-day tasks
  • Understanding of and passion for the game of baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays
