Job Title:                         Seasonal Associate, Client Services, Corporate Partnerships

Reports To:                     Manager – Client Services, Corporate Partnerships

Department:                    Corporate Partnerships

Period:                             8-Month Fixed term (paid) contract from March 4 – October 31, 2019

 

Department Overview:

The Corporate Partnerships department is a fast-paced, dynamic team focused on driving revenue through servicing the Club’s extensive portfolio of Corporate Partners and pursuing opportunities to bring new partners onboard. The team develops and fulfills client programs from ideation to execution, engaging fans across Canada through a Corporate Partnership lens.

 

Responsibilities

Support Corporate Partnerships team with departmental functions, including, but not limited to: 

o   Coordinate in-game Partner activity during home games, including organizing Partner prizing, assisting with the execution of Partner activations, qualifying winners during in-game Partner features and obtaining the required documentation to support each activity

o   Support the Corporate Partnerships team with the planning and execution of all department hosting events such as Spring Training Trips, Opening Day Party, Fantasy Camps, Field Clinics and Batting Practice visits

o   Assist the Corporate Partnerships team by fulfilling executional requests related to supporting client accounts, as required

o   Assist in managing a database of Partner assets by capturing photographs, fulfilling merchandise and inventory requests and maintaining internal CRM systems

o   Communicate with professionalism with all internal and external stakeholders and build strong relationships to drive initiatives forward

o   Support the development of 2019 Partner recap reports; gather summaries of Partner assets and source relevant supporting data

 

Qualifications

o   University degree or College diploma sports management/business/marketing

o   Up to 2 years of proven client servicing and/or related experience is required

o   Ability to build strong working relationships with departments/teams and interact effectively with internal and external clients

o   Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task with attention to detail and sound judgment

o   Critical and strategic thinker; ability to be proactive and offer solutions

o   Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills

o   Strong organizational and time management skills; required to work under pressure, multi-task and rise to creative challenges to meet required deadlines

o   Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Photoshop

o   Possess a valid G class driver’s license

o   Legally able to work in Canada

o   Baseball knowledge and passion for the game

o   Hours outside of a typical work day are required to work TBJ games and events, as required (includes evenings, weekends and holidays)
