Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Digital Product Manager, Connected Home, will lead the efforts to transform and evolve the digital strategy for the Rogers brand, and for Smart Home Monitoring.  

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership and strategic direction in digital for the Smart Home Monitoring business.
  • Develop digital strategies and plans based on business objectives, insights, stats, facts and grounded through the customer lens.
  • Lead the digital strategy that will contribute to the Smart Home Monitoring product and Rogers.com experience.
  • Work x-functional to ensure all digital experiences are optimized across channels (Care, Retail, Online & Field)
  • Develop and implement experiences that simplify and improve the customer experience, and align with our core design principles.
  • Work with the performance measurement team to implement and oversee analytics and KPI's for your respective initiatives.
  • Partner with your other digital team members to create synergies across all lines of business.
  • Responsible for driving and/or working cross functionally with all retail/care/marketing/sales teams that need to be involved in your respective initiatives
  • Other roles and responsibilities as required.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant online/digital experience in a fast paced environment with telecom industry experience
  • Keen understanding of the web/app ecosystems and customer needs
  • Drive to provide leadership and direction towards accomplishing goals and taking ownership and responsibility from strategy to execution
  • Understanding of technical aspects of web applications, including database-driven functionalities, general web functionality, etc.
  • Creative ability with practical application for digital channels
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
  • Knowledge and understanding of home security and automation
  • Highly motivated individual with a naturally inquisitive nature
  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once
  • Strong self-management, self-pacing, and organizational skills necessary
  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills and negotiation skills
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
  • Holds self-accountable for achieving established performance objectives
