As the Director Supply Chain Capabilities, you will report to the VP Supply Chain Operations, and be responsible for helping shape the Rogers Digital Supply Chain landscape, driving the Supply Chain Analytics capability improvement program, ensuring process excellence across the board, and leading PMO for Supply Chain strategic and transformational initiatives. You will work closely with Procurement & Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation, and your peers in the Distribution and Transportation Management, as well as the Business Unit aligned Supply Chain teams (Wireless, Residential, and Network), to drive the continuous improvement of the Rogers Supply Chain.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

 

Digital Solutions

  • Drive thought leadership and collaborate with Strategy & Transformation to enable the future state Digital Supply Chain
  • Partner with Supply Chain IT to ensure smooth implementation of all Supply Chain technology

 

Data and Analytics

  • Own and support Supply Chain Master Data governance
  • Drive the Supply Chain Analytics capability improvement program
  • Guide the development of a visual dashboard to support KPI monitoring and drive insights

 

Process Excellence

  • Support the improvement of operational metrics across the Rogers Supply Chain
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders, understand objectives and pain points, provide ongoing operational support and identify key process optimization and continuous improvement opportunities

 

PMO and Execution

  • Own the Supply Chain cost improvement program
  • Lead project management activity for all Supply Chain specific strategic and transformational initiatives
  • Partner closely with Strategy & Transformation, and serve as a key voice at the table for the VP Supply Chain Operations on Supply Chain impacting executive decisions

 

Leadership and Change Management

  • Champion transformational change management, collaborating with and influencing key business partners
  • Cultivate and effectively manage relationships with senior leaders and peers, and coach and manage the professional development of direct reports

 

WHAT YOU HAVE

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Globally recognized Supply Chain certification(s) preferred
  • 12 – 15 years of Supply Chain Management experience, with demonstrated expertise in key areas
    • Sales & Operations Planning
    • Warehousing, Distribution and Transportation Management
    • Data and Analytics
    • Digital Supply Chain Solutions
    • PMO and Process Excellence
  • Prior Supply Chain transformation experience preferred
  • Experience with implementation and use of leading Supply Chain Systems. Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle and/or SAP preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance, as it relates to Supply Chain Operations
  • Strategic mindset, with honed analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and executive presence
  • Effective interpersonal skills, and ability to influence and manage change
  • Strong leadership skills, and prior experience leading and coaching teams
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, with different teams, functions and business units across the organization, and deliver on project management accountabilities
  • Be an advocate for a customer focused culture, and showcase the value of the Supply Chain organization as a valued business partner
