We are looking for a creative, dynamic and collaborative communications leader to join our Communications team! In this role, you will lead internal, company-wide communications programs that engage and inspire our teams to deliver on our plan and for our customers. Reporting to the Senior Director of Internal Communications, you will accountable to develop, deliver and track progress on major parts of our overall portfolio including Company-wide Internal Communications that reach our 26,000 team members. You also bring a unique ability to distill detailed business plans and strategies into compelling and inspiring content, and a passion to keep communications fresh by implementing best practices in employee and leader communications.
What you will be doing:
• Lead a team of talented internal communicators to deliver inspiring communications that inspire and rally our team to deliver for our customers, and on business plan
• Manage execution of company-wide communications programs including strategic planning, content development and execution of employee forums and events and regional visits
• Lead team members to develop engaging content and multimedia assets to be leverage across internal forums and channels such as Vlogs, videos, written messages and compelling visual assets
• Collaborate with communications colleagues to strengthen the effectiveness of leader communications across our business
• Oversee weekly correspondence from senior leaders with employees and customers
• Deliver measurement and analysis on the effectiveness of corporate and leader communications programs across our communications team
• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners in Events, IT and Creative Services to ensure seamless delivery of internal corporate communications programs
• Champion and put into place best practices in leader and employee communications across our communications team
• Strengthen team engagement and support the growth and development of team members
What you have:
• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive communications experience in a medium to large organization
• Demonstrated experience and success in delivering effective internal, employee and leader communications programs
• A proven ability to understand and translate business strategies, plans and issues into effective and inspiring communications
• Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities
• Ability to deliver quality communications across a variety of projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Undergraduate degree/post graduate certificate or equivalent in communications
