Who we're looking for:
Reporting to the VP of eCommerce & Digital Experience, the Director, Digital Design & Experience will be a driving force behind data-driven design and innovation within our digital ecosystem (websites, mobile applications and internal applications). You will lead a talented team of designers and UX specialists to create intuitive, high-impact digital experiences grounded in customer insights and data analytics. Your work will directly influence product development and customer engagement strategies, shaping the future of our digital presence and increase digital conversions and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do:
- User Experience Strategy & Implementation:
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate ideas and concepts into intuitive, visually appealing, and functional digital products.
- Drive UX improvements and optimizations through data-driven decision-making and continuous user feedback.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Work closely with brand, marketing, product, development and analytics teams to ensure the design vision aligns with business and customer needs.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication, enabling cross-functional innovation and creativity.
- Present design concepts and strategies to senior stakeholders and executive leadership, effectively articulating design rationale and business impact.
- Design Systems & Best Practices:
- Establish and maintain a robust, modular design system that supports scalability, consistency, and efficiency across all digital products.
- Develop modular design concepts that enable flexibility and reusability across digital buyflows, streamlining the creation and iteration of cohesive user experiences.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards in data-driven design and UX innovation, adopting best practices where beneficial.
- Champion the use of performance metrics and data visualization to communicate the effectiveness of design initiatives.
- Ensure all digital experiences meet accessibility standards and performance benchmarks.
- Innovation & Data-Driven Design Leadership:
- Lead the digital design and UX team with a focus on leveraging data and analytics to inform creative decisions and improve user engagement.
- Champion a culture of innovation, continuously exploring new design trends, UX methodologies, and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
- Drive creative solutions that merge intuitive design with cutting-edge technology, fostering experimentation and encouraging bold, forward-thinking ideas.
- Integrate data insights with creative vision to produce innovative, intuitive, and accessible digital experiences.
- Advocate for a holistic view of the customer journey, ensuring seamless and meaningful interactions across digital touchpoints.
- Creative Digital Asset Management & Oversight:
- Lead the creation and management of high-quality digital assets, including visuals, UI components, and interactive elements, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows for asset creation, approval, and deployment to maintain consistency and streamline production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of assets into digital products and campaigns.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize asset performance, staying current with design trends and emerging technologies.
What you will bring:
- +8 years of experience in digital design, UX, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated experience using data to drive design decisions and enhance user engagement.
- Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Quantum Metric) and design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and human-centered design.
- Experience with A/B testing, user testing, and other methodologies to validate design solutions.
- Proven ability to translate complex data insights into compelling, user-friendly digital experiences.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting techniques.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for user-centric design.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and guiding them through data-driven creative processes.
- Passion for innovative design thinking and a strong portfolio demonstrating data-driven design projects.
