As a role model and MVP of the Facility Services team, you will work to integrate best practices for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitization of the stadium during events. This involves supervising all aspects of event cleaning, sanitizing, waste management, and inspections.



  • Prior to event, examine stadium levels and washrooms and record or report any visible deficiencies and hazards
  • Draft a deployment board for staff outlining their assigned levels and tasks
  • Brief staff with key information pertaining to the event
  • Provide staff with clear direction and instructions to perform tasks
  • Monitor stadium levels and review all areas that are in use during the event
  • Respond to radio calls and delegate with Team Leaders appropriately
  • Keep a detailed record of all staff activities and attendance
  • Review pre-event checklists and maintenance forms after every event
  • Supervise cleaning and sanitization safe practices for all interior and exterior areas of the building in accordance to event boundary guidelines
  • Ensure that uniforms and PPE’s are being followed correctly.
  • Provide support on proper cleaning and disinfection practices
  • Report on stock levels of equipment and supplies
  • Provide a friendly and informed response to any reasonable complaint or request with professionalism and patience
  • Be alert for the safety of all fans by maintaining a safe environment

  • Perform other duties as required



  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position: frequent walking for periods of at least 8 hours per shift
  • Demonstrate a consistent well-groomed and hygienic appearance
  • Ability and willingness to wear an earpiece while responding to calls in a fast paced, loud and sometimes congested environment



  • High school Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in a supervisor capacity is an asset
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of cleaning and disinfection safety practices
  • Working knowledge of employee responsibilities under the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Awareness and understanding of workplace hazardous materials and chemicals (WHMIS)
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in written and oral English fluency
  • Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills and able to exercise good judgment
  • Ability to work as a member of a team or alone with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate a record of good performance and strong attendance
  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Ability and willingness to work all home games and Rogers Centre events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required



Safety procedures will in place to avoid cross-contamination measures between employees, clients, fans and players.

  • Entrance Health Screening available before entry
  • Personal Protective Equipment (face covering / hand gloves) available
  • Social distancing guidelines in place
  • 24hr cleaning and disinfection to common areas in place
  • Medical personnel on-site


As a condition of hire, all new employees will be required to provide proof of vaccinations against COVID 19 or undergo regular testing. Any request for an exception under Human Rights legislation must be supported by evidence to be considered by Toronto Blue Jays on a case by case basis.
