NATURE & SCOPE

 

Reporting to the Manager, Call Centre (Inside Sales & Support), this role is responsible for all inbound sales and support calls received by the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Club.  Inbound sales include Toronto Blue Jays ticket packages, group sales and single game tickets, in addition to Spring Training single game tickets and game packs.  The Inside Sales & Support Representative will also offer ticket support to Blue Jays fans that purchase any of the ticketing products.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Answering all inbound sales calls and processing ticketing requests for Toronto Blue Jays ticket packages, group sales, single game tickets and other ticketing products as required
  • Answering all inbound sales calls and processing ticketing requests for Spring Training ticket packages, single game tickets and other ticketing products as required
  • Cold outbound calling to generate and drive sales
  • Provide first contact resolution for Blue Jays fans relating to their ticket purchase(s), including technical, ticket management and other customer service issues and questions
  • Stay up to date with all products, pricing and benefits in an effort to drive sales through upsell opportunities presented during inbound calls
  • Maintain a detailed touchpoint history in the Salesforce CRM by logging all customer data and interactions in a clear, timely manner
  • Provide consistent, high level of service to all customers
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in and/or leading departmental product training sessions
  • Work in conjunction with the entire Ticket Sales and Service team to uphold the mandates of the department regarding sales and service goals and objectives
  • Assist with game day operations and perform other duties are required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Strong sales and/or customer service is an asset
  • A strong commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work collaboratively, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Degree or diploma in related field is an asset (business, marketing, customer relations management, sports management, etc.)
  • Previous ticketing experience preferred
  • Experience with Archtics event ticketing system and Salesforce CRM is an asset
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
