Nature & Scope:

Located in the Rogers Center, the Toronto Blue Jays Warehouse is looking for an enthusiastic new addition to fill a Key Holder position on the team. The role requires previous experience in warehousing, shipping/receiving as well as a passion for baseball and a flexible work schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Assist with training and coaching staff on receiving, shipping, transferring, picking and packing merchandise
  • Supervise employees to complete tasks and achieve goals in the absence of direct management
  • Ensure the general operation of the warehouse is carried out in the most professional, organized, and efficient manner possible
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with policies, procedures, rules and safety regulations
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain clean shipping supply area, and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Report any stock discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Able to work weekengs and evenings
  • Optimize space utilization of overstock product for future needs
  • Ensuring fans are adhering to COVID-19 health and safety policies and procedures 
  • Be knowledgeable on the stadium cleaning protocols, assisting with sanitizing high touch areas and bringing larger cleanliness concerns to the attention of the facilities team 
  • Ensure application of WE CARE services principles in all interactions with fans
  • Be a safety ambassador by following and enforcing all public health guidelines for the health and safety all Rogers Centre employees and fans

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment with 1 to 2 years acting in a keyholder capacity
  • Proven experience leading a team in a warehousing and logistics environment is an asset
  • Solutions-oriented attitude with desire to identify and implement process efficiencies
  • Current forklift license is an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills complemented with a friendly and professional manner
  • Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Safely able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada

 

The Toronto Blue Jays will continue to follow guidelines from municipal, provincial, and federal public health authorities and will implement the most up to date measures for the safety of our employees and fans. These measures may be adjusted, but we anticipate that they will include physical distancing, face coverings, health screenings, and COVID-19-specific health and safety training.
