Job Title:                        Seasonal Associate, Luxury Suite Sales & Service

Reports To:                    Sr. Manager – Luxury Suite Sales & Service

Department:                   Luxury Suites Sales & Service

Period:                            8-Month Fixed term (paid) contract from March 4 - October 31, 2019

 

Department Overview:

Luxury Suites Sales and Services is a fast-paced department concentrated on driving revenue and delivering exceptional, high-end experiences for Toronto Blue Jays guests. The team focuses on consistently delivering upscale, success-driven events, with the mission of making our clients the hero and assisting them in achieving a return on investment. We strive to develop a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship with our clients and become a staple in their ongoing hospitality strategy

 

Responsibilities

Support Luxury Suites Sales team with departmental functions, including, but not limited to:

o   CRM administration, including contract collection management, profile enhancing & execution of surveys. (Salesforce training preferred)

o   Pre-Homestand reports

o   Collecting payments, invoicing, account creation (Archtics training preferred).

o   Secure renewals and new entry level sales.

o   Game night responsibilities, some client facing.

o   Assists with game day operations as required.

o   Provides consistent and superior customer service in all dealings with existing and prospective customers

o   Establish relationships across all departments.

o   Adheres to the established policies and procedures in sale and post-sale process.

o   Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Assist in the management and execution of all promotional programs for Toronto Blue Jays games:

o   Game day

o   Sponsor event days, sponsored club theme days

o   JAYS CARE FOUNDATION sponsor-specific initiatives

o   Batting Practice visits

 

Qualifications

o   University degree or College diploma sports management/business/marketing

o   CRM training (Salesforce preferred)

o   Up to 2 years of proven client servicing and/or related experience is required

o   Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and effectively multi-task with attention to detail and sound judgment

o   Critical and strategic thinker; ability to be proactive and offer solutions

o   Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills

o   Baseball knowledge and passion for the game

o   Hours outside of a typical work day are required to work TBJ games and events (includes evenings, weekends, holidays)

o   Ability to legally work in Canada

Schedule: Full time
Shift: Variable
Length of Contract: 8 Months

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%
