Reporting to the Senior Manager Roaming Wholesale Operations in Carrier Roaming and Global Long Distance, this position is located in the Toronto office and involves the following primary responsibilities:

What you will be doing:

  • Analyze large volumes of data, identify opportunities and risks, and articulate findings and recommendations.
  • Develop and generate reports for key business indicators and financial results. Execute various analyses, explain results, and make recommendations.
  • Accountable for the accurate and timely operational management of financial reporting, invoicing, settlement, account reconciliations, and analytics for all national wholesale roaming agreements.
  • Validate application of accurate agreement terms and conditions.
  • Support processes related to A/R and A/P, and reporting functions for roaming agreements. Effectively prioritize and proactively settle accounts.
  • Astutely handle vendor relationships, understand offers and comparatives in the market place, and make appropriate recommendations to support Rogers’ business objectives.
  • Conduct business process analyses to identify and implement improvements.
  • Perform timely and accurate completion of SOX controls.
  • Lead initiatives through project governance process.
  • Administration and action of domestic roaming group email boxes.
  • Other ad hoc support or deliverables as required.
  • Lead by example to work effectively and collaboratively within and across teams.


What you bring:

  • Enthusiasm and passion for the Rogers Values.
  • Statistical, business or financial degree/designation with exceptional computer software skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of data warehousing software and tools (ie, SQL, Tableau, Microstrategy, etc).
  • Excellent and proven analytical (managing and interpreting data) and solution-oriented problem solving skills, and attention to details.
  • Strong collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral). Ability to sell ideas/concepts to others through logical and persuasive arguments.
  • Self-starter with an ‘ownership’ mindset and proven experience to excel with minimal supervision.
  • A dynamic, pro-active and organized individual with a proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
