Manager, Customer Base Marketing

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Revenue Management - the Manager, Customer Base Marketing will provide support by creating shareholder and customer value through the active management of the base.

This role will assume a position in managing the overarching upsell and cross base marketing programs. This includes leading and driving existing programs as well as finding new and creative solutions focused on customer base growth.

The ideal candidate has experience with marketing communications, marketing strategy, channel management, customer experience, and project management. This candidate also has a proven track record executing with excellence as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and generate insight and action.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns from end to end (includes opportunity sizing, creative review, deployment, reporting and post campaign analysis) to accelerate growth within the base.
  • Deliver on strategy to grow the converged base across Rogers and Fido brands.
  • Identify opportunities within the base for product upsell, focused on delivering the best ROI for the business and product relevance for our customers.
  • Manage the quarterly and long-term planning for converged and upsell.
  • Work with cross functional teams to execute on quarterly marketing plans and maintain an open dialogue with partners on base performance.
  • Identify innovative ways to reach our base and develop strategy to execute.
  • Collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams to implement and manage key projects.
  • Make recommendations on how to improve base revenue performance or drive contingency activity to close performance gaps.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional partners through collaboration and open communication.
  • A customer centric approach to marketing.
  • Superior strategic thinking and negotiation skills combined with the ability to effectively synthesize and simplify complex situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.
  • Self-starter and comfortable influencing cross-functional teams
  • Advanced/expert MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or equivalent, or 5 to 8 years of progressive experience.
