Manager, Employee Recognition Program

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Employee Recognition Programs, the Manager of Employee Recognition plays a critical role in shaping how our employees feel valued, celebrated, and connected through the design and delivery of meaningful recognition experiences across the organization.

 

This is an individual contributor role that is ideal for a self starter who is also a highly collaborative team player. You will need to bring strong written and verbal communication skills and be a confident, engaging presenter who is comfortable connecting with peers, employees, and leaders at all levels.

What you'll do:
• Design, develop, and deliver employee recognition programs, including awards, peer to peer recognition, and service anniversary celebrations and events
• Lead the ongoing administration and evolution of the Rogers Employee Discount Program, including program updates, communications, reporting, and stakeholder partnerships
• Support the planning and execution of recognition related events for frontline contact centre employees, ensuring experiences are engaging, inclusive, and operationally seamless
• Collaborate closely and primarily in office with fellow program managers to develop and launch integrated communication campaigns that drive awareness, participation, and engagement
• Serve as an Employee Recognition ambassador, building strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders across all regions
• Manage program logistics and operational requirements, including budgeting, vendor coordination, timelines, and execution details
• Measure program effectiveness using survey insights and HR data, and recommend enhancements to continuously improve impact and employee experience
• Stay current on internal insights, workplace trends, and best practices related to employee recognition and engagement

 

What you'll have:
• University Degree or College Diploma
• 3–5 years of experience in program management, event execution, people leadership through influence, and/or employee programs
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with website tools and digital platforms
• Ability to develop engaging multi media communication materials (email, video, social, graphics, posters, digital assets, etc.)
• A strong creative streak and a passion for producing memorable experiences
• A forward thinking mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs
• A desire to learn new skills and proactively support the team when needed
• A strong track record in highly collaborative environments
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Yammer)
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with employees and leaders at all levels
• Comfort working efficiently with minimal supervision
