We are currently seeking a highly talented Manager to join the Wireline Finance team at Rogers. As a Manager, you will provide reporting, planning and analytical support to the Wireline business. You will work with cross-functional teams to manage the consolidated Wireline reporting process.
What you’ll be doing:
• Lead consolidated financial and management reporting for the Wireline business with particular focus on month end results and monthly/quarterly forecasts
• Collaborate with all areas of the Wireline Finance team to ensure timely and accurate production of all financial and operational reporting
• Play key support role in annual planning process
• Work closely with the senior finance team to review results and prepare analysis for executive presentations
• Prepare and present variance analyses; communicate key trends and observations; make recommendations and champion opportunities to improve performance
• Evolve performance management metrics to drive opportunities across the organization
• Develop, enhance and support detailed financial models used for planning and reporting
• Collaborate with business partners to lead business decision support for product launches, pricing changes and other strategic decisions
• Support other ad hoc projects and financial analysis, as required
• Coach, lead, and mentor team members
What you'll bring:
• University business degree is required with 5+ years of progressive finance experience
• Excellent planning and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a high-paced / performance-driven environment
• Advanced analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Extensive experience in financial modeling/executive-level presentations
• Highly motivated with a desire to win, relentless in the pursuit of improvement
• Forward thinking and questioning the status quo
• Ability to develop proactive relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Coaching and leadership experience is highly desirable
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle, Hyperion
