Reporting to the Manager, Business Economics, Hardware Pricing and Strategy the successful candidate will be directly responsible for the end-to-end management and oversight of device pricing operations and tactics for R4B wireless.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for Device Demand forecasting, Device Pricing, and program implementation across all segments of R4B (Small, MidMarket, Commercial, Strategic)
- Execute SMB hardware pricing as per approved programs and tactics
- Maintain competitive parity by managing pricing ATL
- Leverage existing tools to create BTL offers as per approved calendar
- Create offers for existing customers to drive hardware upgrades
- Manage hardware fees and charges for SMB
- Manage SMB credit spends like setup fee and shipping fee to improve financial performance
- Manage credit spends in different channels while maintaining competitiveness
- Manage Device Demand Plan Forecasting for all Enterprise Wireless segments
- Monitor and forecast device sales across acquisition and renewals
- Work with cross functional teams to ensure accurate and timely forecasting is submitted to relevant stakeholders
- Report internally and externally on OEM performance
- Produce analytics on key device programs and metrics
- Present insights to peers & senior management with recommendations on how to optimize costs through device and credits programs and strategies
- Measure and report performance of device programs vs forecast & business case
- Report program results to OEMs to ensure funding requirements are met
- Ensure all device pricing information, program documentation, forecasts and reporting are accurate, reasonable, and completed in a timely manner
- Represent RB interests and requirements cross-functionally
- Act as trusted advisor to Sales, Marketing, Product, and Decision Support Organizations for Device Strategies and Tactics.
What you bring:
- An undergraduate business/commerce degree
- A Professional qualification (CPA, CFA) – Preferred but not required
- Strong analytical, financial modelling skills
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and understand concepts, multi-task, investigate issues, solve problems, promote efficiency/automation, make decisions, manage processes, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Forward thinking with a strong ability to see new trends and quickly translate these trends to the company’s strategy
- Results driven – both short term and long term
- Excellent and proven analytical skills, exceptional problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, and perform well in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Proven ability to exercise a high degree of business judgment and sound reasoning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a demonstrated collaborator
- Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word
- Knowledge of SQL, SAS is preferred
- Technical aptitude with regard to wireless products and devices
