Who we are looking for:

The Residential Marketing Insights team is looking for a Manager, Marketing Insights to lead development of data products and reports. This role is critical in enabling our Marketing teams to make data-driven decisions, and to develop and execute strategies to achieve Growth, Retention, and Revenue KPIs, among others. The ideal candidate will require strong data proficiency and at the same time have good business and financial acumen. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Analytics.

This is a FT Temporary role.

 

What you will do:

  • Data Products: Design, build, and maintain data products that will be used as sources of truth for the Residential Marketing team.
  • Data Products: Ensure that data logic is aligned and updated based on business definitions and requirements.
  • Reporting: Design, build, and maintain interactive reports in Power BI and/or Tableau that provide insights to various key performance indicators, and actionable insights for our business strategy teams to plan and execute.
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with key business stakeholders and SMEs to define data products and reporting requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses and data preparation that will support various business initiatives.
  • Peer review other team members’ work to ensure high level of quality and accuracy of every report, data products, and data output that go out to business stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers within the Residential Marketing data community.
  • Collaborate with different enterprise Data Operations, Data Governance, and IT teams to ensure availability and access to critical data needed by our business stakeholders.


What you will bring:

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Business, or Finance.
  • 5+ Years Experience as a Data Analyst or equivalent, Telecommunications experience an asset but not required.
  • Strong analytical and algorithm skills, with the ability to interpret and create solutions around complex datasets, translating data to business insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL in various environments. Databricks and Snowflake Experience a great advantage.
  • Intermediate to Advance skills in different visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau, with preference on the former.
  • Results-oriented, flexible, and willing to work in a multi-task and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong people skills and ability to work with different levels in the organization.
  • Strong sense of initiative and a self-starter who can work equally well in groups or on their own.
  • Experience working with the senior leadership team and strong presentation skills.
  • Experience with different ETL tools a plus.
  • Experience with various analytical tools (e.g. Alteryx) a plus.
