The Media Insights Manager will successfully oversee the execution of strategic insights for multiple lines of business within Rogers Media – with a focus on Television.  The ideal candidate will work as part of team to inform business decision-making within the areas of media sales, content/programming, marketing and communications and exert to influence with internal and external stakeholders.


What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for managing strategic projects and initiatives pertaining to Rogers Media brands.
  • Monitoring industry trends and sharing key insights with internal clients
  • Audience analysis of TV, Radio and Digital property performance
  • Leading custom research projects pertaining to Rogers Television brands
  • Managing Brand tracking for Rogers Television Brands
  • Support of external communications (i.e. press releases)
  • Representing the Media Insights team in internal stakeholder meetings
  • Budget and vendor management


What you have:

  • Insights and Media experience ranging from a minimum of 3 years to 5 years
  • Expertise/Experience with as many of the following a possible: TV, Radio, Digital Media
  • Knowledge & Experience with the following data sources: Numeris, Vividata, comScore,
  • Experience Scoping, developing, managing and presenting results from custom research projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (including intermediate Excel and Powerpoint skills)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in-person and via e-mail
  • Must be a persuasive, effective and engaging presenter
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are imperative
  • Ability to balance several projects concurrently and meet deadlines
  • Critical thinking – the ability to glean insights from data
  • High degree of self-awareness; ability to think and act strategically
  • High level of responsiveness and proactiveness when dealing with internal stakeholders
