Manager, Partnerships (12 Month Contract – Maternity Leave)  

 

We are looking for a creative, dynamic, and passionate brand-marketer to join our team as a Partnerships Manager. Interested? Are you a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized and enjoys collaborating as a team? You will contribute to developing the strategy and execution of Rogers’ partnerships portfolio. Candidates must have an aptitude for strategic thinking, project management, and demonstrated expertise in executing best-in-class campaigns.

We are seeking a Partnerships Manager to help manage and bring-to-life our partnerships with the National Hockey League (NHL), Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Blue Jays, Tennis Canada, Pride, Live Nation and GTAA.  This role is responsible for leveraging these partnerships to drive business results for Rogers. 

What you will be doing:  

  • Work with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders to execute best in class partnership-marketing campaigns. Specific portfolio to be established based on the candidate.  

  • Work with the Senior Manager, Partnerships to lead day-to-day relationships and responsibilities across Rogers’ partnerships portfolio including planning, strategy, activation & execution, and research & reporting. 

  • Lead, develop, and execute integrated partnership-marketing campaigns, including:  

  • Prepare decks and briefs to collaborate with agency partners and internal/ external stakeholders 

  • Leverage data & insights to optimize current partnerships and plan for future programs  

  • Execute partnerships & brand campaigns from concept development to execution 

  • Insights-driven creative development, approvals & partner integrations  

  • Execution of virtual and in-person activations associated with Rogers’ partnerships  

 

What you have:  

  • 5+ years of marketing and/or related partnerships experience 

  • University degree, preferably in sport management, marketing, or related field  

  • Strategic thinker with experience translating consumer insights into partnership-marketing tactics  

  • Advanced project management skills to lead multiple high-profile and large-budget projects at once  

  • Strong communication skills – confident brief writer, deck builder, with the ability to establish relationships and to influence 

  • A collaborator who can work effectively across organizational levels in a fast-paced environment  

  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
