Who we're looking for:

The Credit Operations team is looking for an experienced analytical candidate to join the team as the Manager, Collection Performance.  This person will develop reporting models and provide business insights to help the achieve desired Live Collections results helping in advanced analytics to understand Involuntary Churn and Bad debt impacts. The role will work cross-functionally across the Organization and with our finance partners.  The successful candidate should be comfortable managing complex subscriber/financial models, deliver meaningful presentations on the overall storyline, and making recommendations to senior leaders.  

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Forecasting and Business Insights activities.

  • Develop and apply appropriate regression modeling techniques, ranging from basic linear regression to more advanced methods such as regularization (Ridge, Lasso) or tree-based models, to analyze historical collection data, identify key drivers of performance, and forecast future outcomes.

  • Continuously evolve/improve model for Live Collection performance on existing collections strategies.

  • Create Power BI dashboards for senior leadership on key indicators to help measure Live Performance, with a focus on designing dashboards that are easily integrated with existing automation workflows.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the internal Data enablement teams to gather information, ensure reliability of insights and forecasts, and identify opportunities to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.

  • Work closely with the data team to ensure all reporting and analytical outputs are designed with automation in mind, maximizing efficiency and minimizing manual effort.

  • Deliver insights and opportunity areas to key stakeholders across the Live Collections team that will guide/inform decision making

  • Present monthly insights focusing on pertinent information clearly and concisely to the senior leadership team.

  • Support the monthly forecasting process.

  • Ad-hoc analysis as required   

What you bring:

  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting in-depth data analysis, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and root cause analysis.

  • Expert knowledge in PowerBI/Tableau is a must-have.

  • Confident in manipulation, development, and maintenance of data sources / tables / queries / scripts with a strong understanding of SQL, Python, and Alteryx. Basic understanding of SAS/Data Brick an asset (but not required).

  • Solid grasp of statistical modeling methodologies, such as regression analysis, time series analysis, and classification algorithms.

  • 2+ years of advanced work experience in Business Intelligence, data engineering and analytics, reporting and dashboard creation.

  • Strong visual design and presentation skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences clearly and concisely.

  • Ability to effectively present data findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to identify and address challenges effectively.

  • Strong customer service focus, by building reports and dashboards with the operations owners and audience needs in mind at all times.

  • Ability to work within a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days work best for you!
