We are expanding our team and looking for a Manager, RSC Sales Engineer to join our Residential Sales Team. In this hybrid role, you will be the operational and technical driver behind our growing Rogers Smart Community business, ensuring that what we sell is flawlessly delivered, installed, and supported across Canada’s residential communities.

This role bridges sales engineering, technical validation, and post-sale execution, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

What you will do:

  • Act as the central point of contact for Rogers Smart Community Existing Buildings projects
  • Translate customer needs into validated Rogers Smart Community configurations (hardware, software and services)
  • Review and confirm proposals, pricing assumptions, BOMs and technical diagrams
  • Support frontline sales in internal deal reviews and loading contracts into Rogers’ systems
  • Oversee and coordinate site surveys and pre-installation requirements (e.g., wiring, vendor access, connectivity)
  • Lead project coordination for Rogers Smart Community deployments including external stakeholders
  • Ensure seamless handoff from pre-sales to delivery phase, eliminating blockers ahead of installs
  • Consolidate and archive project documents (drawings, proposals, BOMs, approvals, checklists)
  • Track and validate billing triggers, flagging any discrepancies in delivery, fulfillment, or invoicing
  • Report weekly project status to Sales & Product leadership; support monthly reporting for revenue recognition and install pipeline tracking
  • Flag feasibility issues and scope gaps before deal submission

 

What you will bring:

  • Proven ability to manage technical deployments and vendor relationships
  • Experience in reading and validating technical drawings, BOMs, and system configurations
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and align internal/external teams to deliver on timelines
  • Familiarity with residential or MDU building infrastructure, low-voltage systems, or proptech integrations
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, tracking tools), and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to flag risks before they escalate
  • A proactive mindset, able to take initiative and thrive in a fast-moving, matrixed environment
