Marketing Manager - Wireless ELC

At Rogers, we are on a journey to grow our Agile Marketing practice and we are seeking a Marketing Manager - Wireless ELC for our cross-functional Wireless Base Agile Squad. This squad is accountable for revamping and modernizing all aspects of operations and service related to our wireless early lifecycle journey for both the Rogers and Fido wireless consumer base. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, and this new way of working helps us drive growth, uncover new opportunities, empower our teams, and rapidly adapt to market shifts and the evolving needs of our customers. As the lead representative for customer-facing communications, you will be a key member of this dedicated team helping to create and drive a competitive advantage through an exceptional customer experience.

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Audit existing early lifecycle journey & communications with the end goal of creating a frictionless, consistent, and customer-centric onboarding experience

  • Lead the short, mid and long-term planning, development and execution of customer facing communications that support the squad strategy, needs and objectives. You will:

    • Know and understand our customers’ unique needs and behaviours to ensure customer segments receive tailored and relevant communications

    • Work with cross-functional members in and outside of squad to gather business requirements and program objectives

    • Write creative briefs and work with Brand team to facilitate agency briefings and creative reviews

    • Write communications across several tactics including email, SMS, MMS, internal communications, etc. and ensure consistent branding and tone throughout

    • Own ongoing learning agenda and test & learn plan for Early Lifecycle communications

    • Coordinate communication deployment through internal/external vendors and platforms

    • Support development of presentations and playbooks, as needed

  • Monitor and track performance of communications and make recommendations for program improvements

  • Work with data operations specialist to secure customer data lists for various communication deployments

  • Manage and cultivate relationships with suppliers and internal teams, i.e. external deployment partner, internal brand team, etc.

  • Assist with budget management by requesting estimates and generating required approvals

  • Actively identify and bring forward opportunities to improve team processes and enablers


What you have:

 

  • Strong passion for the telco industry

  • Deep understanding of customer base management and related customers journeys

  • Strong background in developing and executing customer communication campaign in various channels

  • Advanced writing, editing and proof-reading skills

  • Knowledge regarding communication processes, and related timelines

  • Theoretical and practical experience in designing, conducting and measuring customer campaigns/testing

  • Exceptional program management skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced and high expectation scenario with many stakeholders spanning all levels including senior leadership

  • Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and understand concepts, multi-task, investigate issues, solve problems, promote efficiency/automation, make decisions, manage processes, and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong storytelling and communication skills to share campaign performance, test results, and so-what insights

  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent

  • Experience in Telecommunications considered an asset

  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint experience

  • Experience in working in an Agile Marketing context considered an asset
