The Manager, Inclusion & Diversity reports to the Senior Manager Inclusion & Diversity and is a key member of the team to execute on the overall Inclusion and Diversity strategy and initiatives at Rogers.


What you will be doing:

  • Support the Senior Manager of Inclusion and Diversity in the development of the inclusion strategy by providing insight, data and analytics, and content around inclusion and diversity.
  • Execute on change, learning and communication strategy in partnership with business partners, Communications, and Senior Manager of Inclusion.
  • Identify opportunities for integration between talent strategy, HR measures and diversity measures to drive organizational outcomes with engagement, retention and internal mobility.
  • Support Talent Management processes with diversity insight including but not limited to data for Leadership Scorecard, material for talent reviews and roundtables and leadership playbooks.
  • Supports all diversity programs and initiatives as needed – respond to changing needs with agility.
  • Executes reporting and monitoring mechanisms that track the progress and overall effectiveness of our programs, initiatives, and activities.
  • Provide necessary data and verbiage for external reports including but not limited to Employee Equity Filings, Bloomberg, CSR report etc.
  • Support Employee Resource Groups with key events and ensure that these events tie into Rogers’ strategic objectives.
  • Build a strong knowledge base with respect to inclusion, diversity and equity programs, initiatives, and outcomes.
  • Resource for questions/challenging situation with respect to inclusion, diversity and equity (to the team, stakeholders including HRBP and business).


What you have: 

  • Completion of a post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. Human Resources, Diversity and Human Rights, Social Studies, etc.)
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and/or Inclusion & Diversity
  • Specialized knowledge of Employment Equity, Diversity and Inclusion principles and best practices
  • Strong prioritization and program management capabilities
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and build strong client relationships with senior executives and employees at all levels
  • Experience as a Human Resources Business Partner is an asset
