Manager, Marketing Strategy

 

We’re looking for a marketing professional that has a knack for uncovering new opportunities driven by customer insights to then translate that into compelling stories that drive product strategy and new revenue opportunities. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy and Value Proposition, the Manager will support the creation and implementation of large strategic programs focused on the evolution of the Residential Product and Services marketing strategy. You will a key influencer for how we bring our marketing plans to life by leading cross-functional teams across the organization on the overall Residential products and services strategy.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and evolution of the marketing strategy framework for Residential products and services, driving differentiation and value to our customers 
  • Identify growth market opportunities to expand existing portfolio and create new revenue streams for existing lines of business
  • Lead cross functional programs to detail customer sub-segments (needs, wants, size) that should be targeted, why and how to monetize new opportunities
  • Focus on quantitative market assessments to drive marketing programming over time
  • Develop & coordinate end to end customer lifecycle and value creation for acquisition (target segment, offers, value proposition) and migration strategies
  • Support large cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with key stakeholders from across the business (Brand, Pricing, CBM, GTM, Sales channels) to deliver business objectives 
  • Deliver end-to-end marketing programs and initiatives, from concept & financials to execution
  • Measure performance of large strategic projects & drive ongoing results of key program objectives with a commercial mindset


Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer-facing technology industries
  • 4+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership 
  • Experience in Marketing Strategy and Product Marketing roles an asset
  • Ability to think outside the box to resolve complex issues in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Comfort with numbers and good analytical skills
  • Self-driven, ability to take initiatives and propose concepts/activities that would make a difference for our customers
  • Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to produce and sustain excellent results over a period of time
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
