Manager, Connected Home Marketing Strategy

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Value Proposition, the Manager will support long term planning & implementation of large strategic projects focused on the evolution of the Connected Home  marketing strategy and value proposition that will deliver on key customer awareness/engagement metrics, annual subscribers and  financial targets. You would be working very closely with the Brand, Campaign Management, Customer Base Management,  Pricing, Product Development / Product Management and GTM teams to get alignment across the organization on the overall strategy & bring these projects to market.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and evolution of the value prop framework for Connected Home, driving differentiation and value to our customers
  • Lead cross functional programs to detail customer sub-segments (needs, wants, size) that should be targeted and why
  • Drive brand differentiation so that the value proposition and execution (Advertising, Sales, CBM, Call Centre / Frontlines) for each segment maximizes overall ROI for RCI
  • Focus on quantitative market assessments to drive marketing programming over time
  • Measure performance of large strategic projects & drive ongoing results of key program objectives with a commercial mindset
  • Lead integration of value prop positioning and packaging with quarterly planning and commercial offers
  • Deliver end-to-end marketing programs and initiatives, from concept & financials to execution
  • Develop & coordinate end to end customer lifecycle from acquisition (target segment, offers, value proposition) to migration strategy
  • Support inter-brand migration strategy between Fido and Rogers
  • Support large cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with key stakeholders from across the business (Brand, Pricing, CBM, GTM, Sales channels) to deliver business objectives

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer-facing technology industries
  • 4+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership or project management
  • Experience in Strategy and Product Management roles an asset
  • Ability to think outside the box to resolve complex issues in a cross-functional environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Comfort with numbers and good analytical skills
  • Self-driven, ability to take initiatives and propose concepts/activities that would make a difference for our customers
  • Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to produce and sustain excellent results over a period of time
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
