Manager, Pricing

 

The Manager, Pricing, is responsible for the development and execution of rate card pricing on Home Phone, Smart Home Monitoring, Content and new value add services. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who will recommend rate card pricing strategies by leveraging consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and customer-based data and analyses. Rate card pricing includes active participation in yearly and quarterly marketing planning processes to ensure pricing constructs connect to revenue and subscriber targets.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead rate card pricing strategy to meet subscriber, revenue and profitability targets
  • Analyze the market and the competitive landscape as well as customer base to identify subscriber and/or revenue opportunities
  • Develop business cases to perform scenario analysis on “next best move”
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Marketing, Planning, IT, Product Management to gather/share insights and socialize rate card pricing plans and programs

 

What You Bring

  • Experience in a pricing/marketing/strategy function
  • Undergraduate Degree in a relevant discipline, MBA is considered an asset
  • Experience in telecommunications/subscription industry an asset
  • Experience in effectively communicating complex information to decision makers
  • Own end to end accountability in programs involved
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Very strong analytical, planning and communication skills, including presentation skills and advance knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passionate and committed to go “above and beyond” and to grow in their role
