Reporting to the Director Project Delivery Office (Bank team), the Project Manager role has ownership and accountability for the project delivery and governance of all systems used by Rogers Bank and its outsourced vendors.

The role would be responsible to ensure the project solutions are optimized to deliver the needs of the business with focus on cost, schedule and scope.
 

What you will do:

  • Deliver Bank IT projects involving multiple vendors (more than 10) and multiple separate credit card systems and interfaces.
  • Work with Business stakeholders, BSA and QA team on new initiatives, manage and provide support throughout SDLC/Agile (Sprints) and Product Life cycle
  • Participate in the review of the vendor solution and provide inputs related to system efficiency with focus on current & future system solution
  • Ensure constant project governance by tracking mandatory project deliverables, approvals and documentation as per SOX compliance
  • Continuously evaluates, innovates, and recommends new enhancements, platforms and solutions in collaboration with internal and external resources to maintain system efficiency and better customer experience
  • Responsible for tracking and meeting team targets as per key metrics, KPI set for the project delivery team
  • Measure, monitor, and control overall project and team cost and track against baseline
  • Available during critical production issues to coordinate with impacted teams and support until resolution or temporary workaround is in place
  • Other duties as assigned.
     

What you will bring: 

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 10 years equivalent work experience in IT application development / infrastructure projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management in financial services industry with a preference in consumer credit card management
  • Detailed knowledge of TSYS TS2 and related credit card systems including Issuer and Network systems, IVR, Mobile development & Web applications 
  • Knowledge of Network Security, Web Services, Data transfer system and Data Warehouse
  • Strong Digital project experience
  • Strong experience in both agile and waterfall type of projects.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge and proficiency of deliverables in each phase of project/product Life cycle
  • Demonstrate leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Adept in Microsoft office products – Excel, PowerPoint, including MS Project
  • PMP certification an asset
