Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Sportsnet, you will play a key role in supporting the marketing strategy and execution of the largest sports media portfolio in Canada. You are a passionate team player that adds value and will enable the business to: i) serve the needs of Canadian sports fans, ii) reach and exceed financial goals and iii) build the Sportsnet brand by driving audiences and maximizing efficiency across all marketing channels.

 

What you will do...

  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans for select properties within the Marketing portfolio
  • Oversee the daily delivery of all episodics, radio, social and digital assets for multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Manage the day-to-day worklist requirements for all properties within the portfolio
  • Coordinate with internal creative agency partners to deliver break-through creative development
  • Manage Audience Relations communications ensuring timely responses and escalations (as required) on a daily basis
  • Partner with internal Traffic department to ensure flawless on-air presentation for all promotional assets on our networks
  • Execute weekly audits of live game broadcasts. Monitor and troubleshoot inaccuracies while collaborating with Production and News teams
  • Collaborate with the digital & product teams to: A) increase awareness of SN Now and drive subscriber growth; B) increase SN App downloads; and C) drive Sportsnet.ca traffic, content consumption & social audience engagement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute new ideas to the business, improve upon the status-quo and deliver innovative marketing solutions


What you will bring...

  • Work experience in the fields of broadcast, sports marketing, or project management
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and flexibility to handle diverse tasks
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Disciplined operator able to function in a fast paced working environment
  • Ability to champion brand standards with partner teams and ensure they are understood, maintained and consistently executed across all brands
  • Desire to take initiative and deliver results; ambition to progress within the company
  • You are a sports fan that understands the thrill of cheering on your favorite team
